I've been fascinated by money and what makes a business successful my whole life. After completing my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting, I started my full-time career in the trenches of one of the Big 4 accounting firms, EY, during which time I became a CPA. At EY, I worked primarily with venture capital firms who oversaw portfolios of small, growing businesses.

My experiences at EY and subsequent corporate accounting roles convinced me that every business, big or small, successful or otherwise, grows faster and is more profitable when backed by accurate numbers and a financial advisor to interpret them. Accounting and tax work, done right, will both grow your business and save you money. It is impossible to effectively plan, grow, or even have a clear picture of your business if you only see your numbers once a year on your tax return.
